Editor's Notes

First produced in 1958, the Tangen champagne and white wine glass from Hadeland Glassverk boasts an elegant design, inspired by traditional Nøstetangen glasses – part of their luxury stemware repertoire.

Handcrafted in Norway using time-honoured techniques, this tinted crystal glass features a solid shape with a beautifully structural stem and is finished with the collections signature detail – a single air-bubble accent between the bell and the stem.

Hadeland Glassverk is Norway’s oldest industrial company that is still in operation today and has been producing premium glass for household use since 1762. Based in Jevnaker, surrounded by the idyllic landscapes of Lake Randsfjord, the factory that once mainly supplied apothecary glass for medicines has become a maker of beautifully crafted functional designs, fit for the contemporary home. With the brand’s rich history embedded into its DNA, each piece is made using time-honoured techniques to deliver bespoke objects for your home – expect tableware, stemware and lighting.
