Editor's Notes
This 22-carat gold pendant necklace from Dinny Hall features a halo setting of rose-cut amethyst and brilliant-cut tsavorite and diamond, designed to celebrate and honour the Suffragette movement.
For this limited edition collection, designer Dinny Hall drew inspiration from the array of Suffragette jewellery that was produced and worn by supporters during the fight for women’s right to vote. One hundred years later, Hall employs the iconic colours associated with women’s suffrage – violet for justice, green for hope and white for purity – to create a new line of striking pieces with a still-resonant message.
About Dinny Hall
Dinny Hall is a legend of British jewellery design. A Liberty London favourite since her Central Saint Martins graduate collection in 1984, the designer has been developing an elegant, inventive and exquisitely understated aesthetic ever since. Working out of a bustling studio in Notting Hill, the designer – who is involved in each piece, from sketch to store – uses genuine gemstones and the highest quality gold and silver in her jewellery. Informed by an eclectic array of influences – from 20th century furniture design to the domes of Russian orthodox churches – Dinny Hall’s jewellery is a wonderfully vibrant part of the contemporary scene.
