Our Spitalfields Silk scarf is crafted from rich silk molare and expertly woven in Como, Italy – a lifelong modern icon to brighten up daily dressing.

Whether worn as a neckerchief or woven around the handles of your bag, a Liberty scarf is a heroine of versatile styling. This silk molare scarf features Spitalfields Silk – originally dating from around the 1790s, this artwork is based on some of the oldest designs found in the Liberty archive. These artworks would have been hand painted on textile point paper and used as instructions for decorative needlework. The design includes trailing lace elements adorned with flower bouquets, peacock feathers and animal patterned ribbons.
