HOW TO USE

Trim the wick each time before lighting for a longer, cleaner burn. On the first time of lighting, allow the candle to burn for a few hours until the wax has pooled right to the edge. This will allow for an even burn in future.

With a clientele that once included Louis XIV and Napoleon, Cire Trudon is the most highly respected candlemaker up to this day, and the oldest in the industry. This fragrance is an olfactory portrait of iris - grown in fertile valleys and gardens for centuries, the iris was symbolic in Egyptian Mythology, relating to Horus, the falcon god, who brought the sky and earth together.

About Trudon
Trudon, the world's oldest candlemaker, has been turning wax into light since 1643. Founded on Rue Saint Honoré, just down the road from the Tuileries Palace, the company and its innovations became a part of French history, appearing in a Balzac book and, more importantly, supplying illumination to Louis XIV, Marie Antoinette and, eventually, Napoleon. Today, having survived revolution and the invention of electricity, Trudon works with contemporary noses and desingers to make distinctive – and gorgeously packaged – scented candles.
