About Esmie
Founded in 2009 by Kim Harrup-Brook following a lifelong appreciation and practice of traditional bookbinding and hand print-making, Esmie is a design studio based in the UK specialising in elegant stationery and home accessories. Combining Japanese aesthetics with time-honoured techniques, the brand produces beautifully hand-bound notebooks, journals and photo albums as well as a collection of luxury home accessories - working closely alongside family-run silk-screen print studios in Kyoto to produce their designs.
