HOW TO USE

Trim the wick before lighting for a longer, cleaner burn. On the first time of lighting, allow the candle to burn for a few hours until the wax has pooled right to the edge. This will allow for an even burn in future.

Handmade and poured in Normandy, France, each one of Cire Trudon’s candles have been elaborated hand in hand with world class perfumers – each fragrance the result of careful development. Joséphine awakens dreamy garden fragrances with zingy and fresh notes of bergamot, kaffir lime and spices, developing into sweet, floral aromas of Chinese camellia, Egyptian jasmine and Turkish rose – a heady blend that invigorates any interior. Finally, Indonesian sandalwood, iris and white musk set in – an olfactory mix that reflects the muffled light of dawn that slips through flower beds. Presented in a regal glass vessel, this candle will enhance any mantlepiece or hallway.

About Trudon
Trudon, the world's oldest candlemaker, has been turning wax into light since 1643. Founded on Rue Saint Honoré, just down the road from the Tuileries Palace, the company and its innovations became a part of French history, appearing in a Balzac book and, more importantly, supplying illumination to Louis XIV, Marie Antoinette and, eventually, Napoleon. Today, having survived revolution and the invention of electricity, Trudon works with contemporary noses and desingers to make distinctive – and gorgeously packaged – scented candles.
