COLLECTION

The latest quilting collection from Liberty Fabrics is inspired by the historic epicentre of popular culture that is Carnaby Street, located just around the corner from the iconic Liberty flagship store. Drawing inspiration from the music, art and fashion of the 1960s and ‘70s, the collection reflects the free-spirited, optimistic mood of that era – influenced by the colourful patchwork that was painted on the pavement outside the Liberty store during the 1970s, with three colour stories designed to conjure hazy summer days in London.

Add colour to your next craft project with a half-metre piece of pre-cut cotton for quilting – mix and match for an eclectic effect, or buy several of the same style to suit larger projects.

The stylised floral shapes of Cosmos Cloud evoke a 1960s vibe with their carefree character and bubbly outlines, wholly embracing the Pop aesthetic. Unabashedly bold and joyous, this pattern was originally created for Liberty in 1967. It is printed on our Lasenby base – designed specifically for quilting, this soft cotton is suitable for a range of creative projects, including bedspreads, cushions and cosies. It is machine washable and durable enough for daily use, with each richly coloured design created using traditional screen-printing techniques.

Please note: This fabric is pre-cut. Each piece measures approximately 108cm by 50cm.
