The Synopsis
For nearly 150 years, Liberty has been an icon of the artistic movement, especially our signature prints, which have been designed by everyone from William Morris to Sonia Delaunay and Grayson Perry.
In 2023, Liberty launched Liberty LBTY. Fragrance, five scents inspired by five iconic Liberty prints. These were brought to life by some of the world’s greatest perfumers, who translated our rich history into fragrance.
A year later, we welcome two new fragrances, a floral oud duo comprising Ianthe Oud and today’s Hall of Fame newcomer, Hera Reigns, £225 for 100ml.
The Rise to Fame
Visitors to Liberty’s Tudor flagship will always remember the experience of entering the building. The woody aromas in the air, the warm, inviting atmosphere. The elegant beams and noble architecture, housing a glittering array of treasures waiting to be explored. Gazing heavenward up towards the glass roof in The Atrium, where the golden ship perches in the wind. Hera Reigns is this experience in a bottle.
The Star Quality
“I wanted to create something noble,” said perfumer Honorine Blanc, in reference to the fragrance’s namesake print. “The queen of flowers: jasmin sambac, is enveloped by her sophisticated partner of oud wood. Together they weave back and forth between noble elegance and brilliant naturality.”
