Oh, the mighty dinner table. A place of congregation and celebration centred around food. But in truth, it's much more than that. From mid-week dining to epic weekend feasts, setting the table for dinner is embodied in family meetings, in making a new friend or having a lively conversation about the news – and washing it all down with warmth. So, how do you lay the table the Liberty way? Well, when you sit down to dinner with Liberty, expect vibrancy, rich flavours and delightful oddities. Case in point: our new collection of beautifully considered table linen.
Made in Italy and designed to echo our three design families – Arts Club, Townhouse, and Country House – our table linen collection features our most loved heritage designs, reimagined in new palettes to add a pinch of Liberty to every meal. With a focus on expert craftsmanship in a choice of cotton or linen, this five design collection bestows our artistic shoppers the opportunity to mix and match with a riotous sense of whimsy. There are no rules here.

Arts Club
As we reach the darkest, coldest period of the year, there’s no better feeling than serving up comfort and connection with home-cooked creations – best dressed up with a little Liberty print, of course. Part of the Arts Club collection, which pays homage to Liberty's iconic eccentricity, our French Brocade print offers a contemporary twist on a traditional pattern. Inspired by an artwork from the Liberty archive, this elaborate and ornate pattern is reminiscent of Jacobean style designs with
exaggerated flowers surrounded by trails of opulent foliage that bring out a mesmerising richness of form and flow.
So, how do you style it? The trick is to inject fun into the table at every turn with pops of brights and platters shaped like the most decadent fruits and vegetables. It’s maximalism without being outrageous; we’re aiming for extroverted and full of personality.

Town House
Bring a dash of our iconic heritage to your dining arrangement with the Felix & Isabelle linens. Inspired by a shawl from the Liberty archive dating from from the 1850s, elements were drawn from its paisley layout and reimagined by the fabrics studio into a completely new design. Town House is home to iconic Liberty patterns in modern tones, blended with neutrals and pops of colour to be easily paired with your existing home décor, this collection of contemporary table linen is a masterclass in refined taste.
Crafted in Italy this tablecloth looks best when met with a kaleidoscope of Liberty with the entire Felix & Isabelle linen, for enhanced print power.
Thanks to the striped border, this set can lend itself to many a modern manor. Lean into the warm tones by pairing with hues of gold and the finest bone china. Dinner parties offer a simple way to connect with others, so approach hosting as such, and serve heaped sharing platters to encourage breaking bread.

Country House
Designed with an idyllic English cottage in mind, the Country House design family is one inspired by vintage décor. Featuring a brand-new version of our classic (and beloved) Poppy and Daisy design, the Poppy Dawn table linens have been redrawn and recoloured as a two-tone silhouette, creating a distinct aesthetic. Best laid at the most abundant times of the year, be sure to dress your Country House table with flora, fauna and oddities from your vegetable patch to truly immerse yourself (and your guests) in the world of Cottagecore.
Make the evening all the more special with small details like candlelight, an array of prints (don’t be afraid to mix and match your linens), handwritten place cards and personalised cocktails – all that’s left to do? Invite the people you love. Everything else will fall into place…
