Whether you have the luxury of a dedicated home-office or an inner-city cubicle, there are plenty of clever desk ideas you can employ to turn even the most cramped spots into organised spaces conducive to concentration. But the dream workspace isn’t just practical, it’s inspiring too, dotted with objects that spark creativity...
Case in point: the four desk set-ups employed by our Liberty creatives. We have everything from the WFH desk through to the uber-organised. Here, they show us how they style their desk spaces for maximum inspiration.

The Creative’s Desk
Hannah Edgar, Creative Stylist & Senior Production Coordinator
"I spend lots of time running around on set. Only crashing into my desk to prep for the next shoot, grab a cup of tea and a cola, so it’s not always the tidiest... I do love having a notebook on hand which I fill with to-do lists and doodles for shoot concepts and still life compositions. I always keep Le Labo's AnOther 13 and my Jones Road Lip and Cheek Stick in shade Chocolate Mocha close by for any post-work gigs or trips to the pub."

The Super Organised Desk
Jessica Kumar, Omnichannel Marketing Production Lead
“I used to brush my hair in class a lot – to the annoyance of my teachers who told me to go and work in fashion – so that’s what I did. Desk ambience essentials for me, therefore, consist of an aesthetically pleasing and cosy space: candles, hairbrush, glasses. On the practical side, I’m a creative planner so putting together the puzzle of organising a campaign with conflicting schedules means a good old fashioned pen and paper for mind mapping, and cups and cups of tea.”

The Working From Home Desk
Lyndsay Conway, Head of Audience Development
“When I’m working from home, I want my desk to spark creativity and inspire productivity. Designing my space around beautiful accessories helps me to look forward to planning my day, making sure I stay on top of tasks and remain organised. At the end of the day, I’m in no hurry to tidy away my desk, as I’ve made sure it fits in with my home aesthetic.”

The Beauty Desk
Hannah Richardson, Beauty Buyer
"My desk is normally surrounded by samples and deliveries so it rarely looks as tidy as I'd like, but I always keep a few key things to hand to use before jumping in to my next meeting. A rotation of a few of my favourite old and new fragrances, one of the mini La Bonne Brosse brushes (I love this rosy pink!), a lip gloss or lipstick – Lisa Eldridge is one of my new favourites, and a hand cream (much needed at this time of year to keep hands soft and hydrated). And of course, there has to be a candle. You can’t go wrong with Diptyque Baies but I also love Hera from the Liberty collection."
