House Florals: Meet the Beloved Blooms of Liberty
Introducing House Florals by Liberty Fabrics, a collection of small flower prints designed to celebrate Liberty’s archive florals
By: Maddi John
Liberty’s everlasting love affair with florals persists with our newest addition to the Fabrics Hall: House Florals. As a true celebration of Liberty’s most cherished small botanical designs, beautifully complemented by modern and reworked archival stripes and graphic geometric, this interior fabric collection is for those looking to bring a piece of Liberty into their homes in the form of a timeless, classic print.
Including details from some of Liberty’s most iconic floral wallpapers, this collection is inherently Liberty, laced with true legacy and rooted in the classic 1930s florals. Take the instantly recognisable Poppy Meadowfield – a reworking of a favourite archival print from 1910 that sits on a refreshing and vibrant palette. Or explore a recently renewed print, Shepherdly Flowers, created in the Liberty Fabrics design studio in 2015 and offering a celebratory interpretation of wildflowers and plants drawn in a paisley-edged style.
House Florals has been designed so that both blooms and geometrics can be styled alone or combined for contemporary pattern clashing. Each fabric fits into Liberty’s core Interior colours: Lacquer, Lichen and Pewter, and includes both cotton and linen fabrics, perfect for your next cushion craft project or elevated drapery around the home.
So, without further ado, we’re thrilled to introduce you to House Florals…
