From dog walks and outfit planning to watering plants and forest bathing, discover a few mood-boosting rituals to try when you need a dose of dopamine to brighten your day.

The first thing I do is ‘Forest Bathing’. Despite the name, it’s nothing to do with bathing but instead means to ‘bathe’ in the trees with my dog on a Saturday or Sunday. I don’t work on the weekends, I walk my dog for two or three hours in the forest – it’s my favourite. Is there anything better than getting home from a cold walk, making a cup of tea, running the bath, getting your kindle and soaking in the bathtub? I like to put Mirror Water Smooth Body Oil in the bath as well, it’s really hydrating.
