The History
One of beauty’s most in-demand makeup artists and the founder of Westman Atelier, Gucci Westman knows great skin. And while her collection of elevated makeup essentials can help fake it, she knows that truly great skin requires great skincare, which is why in more recent years, she’s added a few select skincare formulas to her line-up. But second thoughts, these are not. Her breed of skincare is high-impact and clinically proven, using the most advanced ingredients around.
The Innovation
The solitary ingredient in question here is vitamin C, or more specifically, 100% THD ascorbate, a derivative crafted in Japan. Where other, more traditional forms of vitamin C can prove fairly unstable, oxidising and degrading on exposure to light and air, this version offers unparalleled stability, transforming to pure vitamin C on contact with skin’s natural enzymes and absorbing three times more efficiently.
