The Liberty Oriental Carpet Department is one of the oldest departments in our flagship building and specialises in antique, old and newly hand-woven rugs and carpets from all over the world.
Hand-picked by buyer Bruce Lepere from far-reaching destinations that include Khyber Pass, the bazaars of Iran and the Hindu Kush mountains, every piece is an individual work of art; handwoven using methods and skills passed down through centuries - each pattern as unique as the tribes, traditions and weavers themselves.
