Women In Print
The Women in Print capsule collection, created in partnership with the Women in Print exhibition presented by William Morris gallery, celebrates the contributions and the pivotal role of female designers in enriching the Liberty archive over the past 150 years. Exploring Liberty’s rich history/heritage, the collection acknowledges the women who gained international recognition, while also celebrating the previously overlooked names and the significance of their contributions to the world of textiles. The collection captures thirteen designs, showcasing the incredible range of design styles and techniques engaged with across the decades. From sinuous Art Nouveau florals and mid-century geometrics to the bold graphic prints of the 1980s and ‘90s, Women in Print honours the women at the heart of Liberty’s creative innovations.
