Flora Danica
An ode to the beauty of nature, Flora Danica is a Copenhagen-based luxury fragrance label, inspired by the iconic botanical encyclopaedia of the same name. An endless fountain of knowledge and intrigue, the vast Flora Danica encyclopaedia, was commissioned by King Frederik V in 1752 to illustrate all the flowers and plants of his kingdom and to disseminate knowledge about nature. The complete work was finished after 120 years, 3200 sketches and 54 books, which now provide a source of reference for each of Flora Danica's beguiling olfactory blend. Creating genderless fragrances that offer a fluid interpretation of femininity and masculinity, Flora Danica invites renowned perfumers to follow their integral values – to embody Danish life and reflect the diverse nature in Denmark. Culminating in purposefully blended scents that harness precious ingredients, each revealing unique and timeless olfactive experiences, their fragrances celebrate the coming together of humanity and nature.
