Suspended on an ultra-fine trace chain, this petite pendant is formed of a square-shaped fragment of glossy black bakelite in a polished, 9 carat rose gold claw setting. The designer's appreciation for natural imperfection is clear in the four raw, pavé polki diamonds sitting in clustered silver settings at the centre of the pendant. About Pascale Monvoisin
Drawing on her Andalusian childhood and many years spent painting, sculpting and crafting, French jewellery designer Pascale Monvoisin creates handcrafted, gem-encrusted talismans, designed to become natural extensions of the self. Every stone is personally hand-selected by the designer on regular trips to Jaipur, India, where she chooses from a wonderfully unique range of gems so that every piece is ever-so-slightly different from the last.
