Editor's Notes

An early 1930’s couture kimono, cut from fine silk crepe - a rare piece selected from Liberty’s designer vintage archive, available exclusively online.

This dramatic kimono-style coat has a traditional cut, with an elongated flat collar and waterfall draped sleeves. Adorned with a vibrant repeated print of blooming chrysanthemums, overlaid with stylised, multicolour daisies and buttercups, it is finished with an ecru and tea-rose pink lining. A beautifully striking piece, this is truly a stand out in any collection.
