This pendant necklace is another distinctive offering from Acanthus – the fine jewellery line by designer Nicole McIver, whose art history background informs every last detail.

Each piece from Acanthus carries a sense of history, influenced by medieval and ancient objects that have been reimagined into timeless jewels. This necklace features a round pendant with a reversable design – one side is cast in oxidised silver with a 24ct gold crescent moon and opal, whilst the other side is cast in 24ct gold with an oxidised silver crescent moon and opal accent. Try pairing it with other pieces from the brand for a truly talismanic finish.

About Acanthus
Acanthus is a jewellery line from Nichole McIver, a former art historian who creates each piece in her studio in Minnesota. The brand's name refers to a scrolling foliage motif whose reappearance throughout different eras of history symbolises a sense of timelessness, according to McIver - a trait she endeavours to recreate within her work. The designer is drawn to the medieval and the ancient, particularly pre-16th century objects that she reimagines and transforms into intricate jewellery. Acanthus is available exclusively in the UK at Liberty.
