Editor's Notes

Brimming with history and symbolism, this unique suffragette brooch from Kojis is bound to become a conversation piece. Crafted from 15ct gold, it’s characterised by an elongated, decorative silhouette, featuring a central round cut peridot, surrounded by a cluster of seed pearls. The cluster is framed on either side by a round cut pink sapphire – each colour is a symbol of the Suffragette movement, representing Hope, Purity, and Dignity. Pin it to the lapels of your favourite blazer in remembrance of a proud moment in history.

During the turn of the 20th Century, women and sympathisers of the Women’s Suffrage Movement would wear these colours to signal one another. The first letter of each colour, G, W, and V stood for ‘Give Women Votes’.
