A beautifully detailed Arts and Crafts shawl, crafted in silk - a rare piece selected from Liberty’s designer vintage archive, available exclusively online.

Dating to the late Victorian period, this exquisite shawl is woven from fine silk twill, with an all-over marble vein effect in a stylised pen and ink design. Overlaid onto this are intricate geometric cut-outs, incorporating a musician playing the flute, all in vibrant shades of blue, purple, green and pink. Finished with a silk macramé stylised lattice border and grown-on elongated fringing, this striking piece is truly a stand out in any collection.
