The Liberty Animals collection is a curation of lively prints that take you on a journey through whimsical oceans, fantastical forests and prehistoric lands. We encounter meowing cats, playful monkeys, and regal tigers all drawn in meticulous detail to bring to life a wealth of dynamic narratives. These characterful designs are printed onto our organic Tana Lawn cotton which is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified as well as featuring our Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 rating. Organic Tana is prepared and mercerised through a slightly different process, resulting in a soft, warm hand feel and lustrous colour that provides the perfect base for your next project.
Created by a renowned British illustrator most noted for his creation of the Liberty Queue for the Zoo design, Tiger Tours’ aim is to highlight the gentle, protective qualities of a tiger. The tiger can be considered as the flow of time, and hopefully, good fortune, that carries us through whatever personal jungle we find ourselves in. The storybook feel is accentuated by the medium used; strips of painted fabric assembled to create a charming collage.
Our Tana Lawn™ cotton is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Here it is prepared in a slightly different process to ensure GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification. Printed in our very own Liberty Printing Mill in northern Italy, the organic version of our signature Tana has a beautifully warm and soft touch, combining rich fluidity with vibrant print quality.
