From woodlands and wetlands to parks, heaths and gardens, there is a sense of enduring wildness and wonder to be discovered in London’s green spaces. Honouring the capital’s abundance and variety of natural beauty spots, the Liberty Fabrics designers drew inspiration from all over the city to create the London Parks quilting collection – a captivating day trip through the most timeless park activities including flying kites, enjoying an al fresco picnic, and making new canine friends. Traditionally screen-printed onto our soft Lasenby cotton, the collection is specifically designed for quilting and craft projects.

Editor's Notes

Summer in the City features stencilled illustrations of iconic London landmarks, in a charming composition of life in the capital. The design draws together instantly recognisable views of the London Eye, Big Ben and Tower Bridge among a plethora of spring flowers.

Designed specifically for quilting, our soft Lasenby cotton base is suitable for a range of creative projects, including bedspreads, cushions and cosies. It is machine washable and durable enough for daily use, with each richly coloured design created using traditional screen-printing techniques.
