Inspired by Thalassa, goddess of the sea, these faceted hoop earrings from Dinny Hall celebrates the mystical depths of the sea – a collection of pieces expertly crafted to appear worn away by the passing tides.
Crafted from recycled sterling silver, these slightly chunky earrings have been hand-carved in wax and moulded into a faceted, sweeping curve silhouette to achieve a light refracting finish. Complete with a classic hoop lock fastening, they boast a reimagined take on a classic staple – wear them solo for a minimal approach, or stack them with the brand’s smaller sized faceted hoops for a layered, trend-led finish.
About Dinny Hall
Dinny Hall is a legend of British jewellery design. A Liberty London favourite since her Central Saint Martins graduate collection in 1984, the designer has been developing an elegant, inventive and exquisitely understated aesthetic ever since. Working out of a bustling studio in Notting Hill, the designer – who is involved in each piece, from sketch to store – uses genuine gemstones and the highest quality gold and silver in her jewellery. Informed by an eclectic array of influences – from 20th century furniture design to the domes of Russian orthodox churches – Dinny Hall’s jewellery is a wonderfully vibrant part of the contemporary scene.
