They are, perhaps, two of the most recognisable witches out there: Oz’s Glinda the Good, with her froufrou dresses and glimmering crown, and The Wicked Witch of the West, Elphaba: green-skinned, clad in all-black and, maybe, misunderstood…?
As the Wicked & Liberty collaboration arrives in the legendary windows of our London store, get to know the untold stories of the two witches of Oz, ahead of the new film’s arrival into UK cinemas on 22nd November.
Elphaba, played by Cynthia Ervio, and Glinda, played by Ariana Grande, seem on the surface to be polar opposites. Glinda is Queen Bee, pretty in pink and universally adored, while Elphaba, is quiet, mysterious and clever.
The real question though: which witch would you be? And, more importantly, what does that mean for your Liberty wishlist? There’s only one way to find out…
What's Your Wicked Personality?
Answer these five questions and keep a note of your responses to find out your witching doppelgänger…
1. You’ve received an invite to the party of the century (think champagne, delectable food, all night dancing and dazzling frocks). The question is, what will you wear?
A: Something glittering, sparkling and exuberantly eye-catching. If you’re not wearing something that makes you centre of attention, then why even bother going?
B: Black is the chicest colour. Perfect for slinking around the edge of the dancefloor making intelligent conversation.
2. What’s in your jewellery box?
A: If it’s delicate, dazzling and preferably pink: that’s the piece for me. They don’t call diamonds a girl’s best friend for nothing.
B: I like my jewellery to be moody and dramatic, with a deeper meaning. And I’d never say no to an emerald…
3. You have a free weekend in the diary – how are you spending it?
A: Free? What does that even mean! A weekend isn’t a weekend if it isn’t jam packed with social events. You’ll start with a reformer class, meet some friends for a coffee and a gossip, before a spot of shopping at Liberty. Round the day off with an exclusive dinner party (you’re attending, not hosting, naturally) followed by a glamorous, invite only after-party.
B: Most likely to be found indulging in intellectual pursuits. A solo museum trip, wander round a gallery or, most perfect of all, an evening off-grid, with nothing but a stack of books for company.
4. What’s in your bag?
A: Lip gloss, fragrance, phone. I like my bags tiny and dainty.
B: You name it, it’s in there. At least one book, a flyer for a local charity event (which I’ll actually go to), glasses, purse, hairbrush, hand cream…
5. How would your friends describe you?
A: Popular! What else matters?
B: Clever, bold and brave.
MOSTLY As
You’re Glinda Through and Through

Appearances matter after all, and no-one knows the tips and tricks quite like you do. Most likely to be found sampling the delights of Liberty’s famed Beauty Hall, entourage in tow. Show off your dazzling personality with an appropriately glitzy, Glinda-fied wish list…
MOSTLY Bs
Defiantly Elphaba
Just like Elphaba you exude a mysterious sense of sophistication and, dare we say it, dark glamour. There’s more to you than might meet the eye. Intelligent, curious and creative, you’ll feel right at home exploring Liberty’s realms of hidden treasures, from hand-crafted homeware to the legendary Rugs Room, with a detour to The Fragrance Lounge, to sample its olfactive alchemy…
