How were you discovered? It's the question that every supermodel gets asked repeatedly, no matter how long ago their career started. Celebrating the release of new book 'Supermodels Discovered', join author and The Telegraph’s Deputy Fashion Director Caroline Leaper for an evening at Liberty to hear how some of the most famous women in fashion and photography launched their careers.

From Naomi Campbell to Claudia Schiffer, many supermodels have fairytale-like origin stories. Several faced challenging upbringings, coming from obscurity or poverty before being scouted by chance in a supermarket or airport. Some became celebrities overnight; others fought their way up from a very young age.

In conversation with fashion and lifestyle journalist, Charlie Gowans-Eglinton, Caroline will discuss some of the most fascinating successes in history - from the inaugural 1940s supermodel Lisa Fonssagrives, via Twiggy and Kate Moss, to present day stars such as Gigi Hadid and Anok Yai.

A glass of prosecco and a copy of the book is included with every ticket, making it the perfect evening treat for any fashion or photography fan.

Tickets: £35 (including a copy of the book and light refreshments)
