HOW TO USE

Trim the wick before lighting for a longer, cleaner burn. On the first time of lighting, allow the candle to burn for a few hours until the wax has pooled right to the edge. This will allow for an even burn in future.

Cire Trudon unveils a new range with white luminescent attributes: The Alabasters. Not only does it replace the classic green glass vessel, but it also creates a sculptural object complete with a matching lid – sculpted in Spain each piece is totally one-of-a-kind. Ernesto transports you to Havana under the fixed sun of the Revolution. Sweet and heady aromas of bergamot, grapefruit and rhum develop into woody scents of clove, labdanum, oak wood and patchouli – a heady blend that warms any interior. Finally, amber, leather, moss and tobacco set in, reflecting the smokiness of Havana – traces of the smoke of cigars and barrels of guns. Minimal and luxurious with the traditional gold-coloured label, this candle will enhance any mantlepiece or hallway.

About Trudon
Trudon, the world's oldest candlemaker, has been turning wax into light since 1643. Founded on Rue Saint Honoré, just down the road from the Tuileries Palace, the company and its innovations became a part of French history, appearing in a Balzac book and, more importantly, supplying illumination to Louis XIV, Marie Antoinette and, eventually, Napoleon. Today, having survived revolution and the invention of electricity, Trudon works with contemporary noses and desingers to make distinctive – and gorgeously packaged – scented candles.
