This pleated A-line skirt showcases a voluminous design that creates a flattering silhouette, gracefully flowing to an asymmetric hem. Perfectly balancing style with comfort, it’s fitted with an elasticated waistband for optimum ease of wear.

The EFFICIENT SQUARE collection offers flared silhouettes created with minimal cutting and sewing. They feature contrasting areas of vertical and diagonal pleating created by folding the garments before they undergo the pleating process.

About Pleats Please Issey Miyake
Japanese designer Issey Miyake founded the Miyake Design Studio in Tokyo in 1970. Miyake quickly became known for his groundbreaking pleating techniques; using heat to imbue fabric with a ‘memory’ that keeps pleats in place. Pleats Please launched in 1993 as a capsule collection of Miyake’s patented pleating and today incorporates sculptural dresses, jackets and separates.
