HOMME PLISSÉ lends a fluid, sculptural note to traditional tailoring with these EDGE ENSEMBLE trousers. Expertly cut from technical-pleated jersey – an innovative fabric created by heat-pressing fully constructed garments to create a crease-resistant finish – the pair is shaped with a tapered leg and wide accordion pleats, which are further enhanced when worn with the co-ordinating EDGE ENSEMBLE jacket.

Issey Miyake’s Homme Plissé brand launched in 2014, offering men the radical pleating techniques for which the designer has been renowned since the ‘80s. Garments are cut and sewn into the final shape before being pleated and treated with heat to hold their shape. Origami-style folding and Japanese-inspired prints ripple subtly through collections of sports-luxe separates and eccentric, cocooning forms.
