Spotlighting the timeless charm of heritage botanicals, the Liberty Fabrics Studio presents Floral Finery – a capsule of delicate floral prints inspired by our iconic archive. Minute detail, complimentary colourways and expressive draughtsmanship bring to life blooms from walled gardens to wildflower meadows in a select array of elegant patterns that will bring a quintessential, classic aesthetic to your next project. Each design is meticulously printed in northern Italy onto our signature GOTS certified Tana Lawn™ cotton - with a beautifully warm and soft touch, this fabric combines rich fluidity with vibrant hues in a modern masterpiece of fabric production.
Carolyn was originally inspired by a large-scale, archival Liberty artwork, and was first printed during the 1970s. Simplified and reduced in scale, its small floral trails of stylised roses were drawn in a typical ikat-style effect, evoking the essence of a traditional woven tapestry.
Our Tana Lawn™ cotton is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Here it is prepared in a slightly different process to ensure GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification. Printed in our very own Liberty Printing Mill in northern Italy, the organic version of our signature Tana has a beautifully warm and soft touch, combining rich fluidity with vibrant print quality.
