Lingua Franca began with a simple stitch when founder Rachelle Hruska McPherson started embroidering old cashmere jumpers as a way to burn off some anxiety. What started as a small line of luxury cashmere jumpers, hand-stitched by women in NYC, has since evolved into a collection of custom hand-embroidered items, seasonal ready-to-wear, accessories, and even wallpaper.
